imageLAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Thursday said sacrifices made by Pakistan in war against terrorism were unprecedented in the world history as more than 50,000 Pakistanis had been martyred in this war.

Talking to a delegation of Pakistan Muslim League-N, here, he said officers and jawans of Pak Army, police and common citizens had written a new history with their blood, adding that those who had laid down their lives in the war against terrorism were national heroes and the nation was proud of their sacrifices.

He said brutal elements showed worst kind of savagery by killing innocent children in Peshawar. He said terrorists had no religion and they did not even deserve to be called humans.

The Chief Minister said progress and prosperity of the country was linked with peace as it was essential for investment, development of economy and creation of job opportunities. He said time had come to wipe out enemies of peace from the country.

He said the nation had shown an exemplary unity in the war against terrorism and the joint action plan against terrorism was the voice of 18 crore people of the country. He said implementation of national action plan against terrorism was yielding encouraging results.

Shahbaz Sharif further said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and national leadership had taken bold decisions to eliminate terrorists. He said that all terrorists are bad without any discrimination and those who had killed innocent children would meet their logical end.
