Jennifer Aniston has won the ‘Movie Performance of Year’ (Actress) award at the recently held People Magazine Awards.
As source revealed that, “The most prominent ‘Oscar’ fan favourite Jennifer Aniston, has turned-serious dramatic actress, whose performance as a woman suffering from chronic pain in the indie ‘Cake’. She has already been recognized with best actress SAG, Golden Globe and Critics”.
The ‘Friends’ star said that she was excited and added that she had really experienced what a labor of love truly meant and the movie ‘Cake’ was never short of that, media reported.
Jennifer Aniston, who has been considered as a Hollywood sweetheart plays the role of an unpleasant and bitter women for the movie, which was tough for her. The movie revolves around a woman suffering from constant pain and a pill addiction who is haunted by hallucinations of a fellow support-group member who committed suicide.
She has also been nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award for her work in the film. The film has received mixed reviews. But Jennifer has been praised roundly for her performance.
