ISLAMABAD: Minister for National Food Security and Research Sikandar Bosan on Friday informed the National Assembly that the government is in the process of formulating a policy envisaging measures to reduce the cost of production of different crops.
Replying to points raised by Leader of the Opposition Syed Khursheed Shah, he said the Prime Minister has constituted a committee in this regard.
The Minister said the policy will be prepared in consultations with the Chief Ministers of the provinces to facilitate the growers.
