Pakistani model/singer Ayyan has been arrested on Islamabad airport for smuggling large sum of money to Dubai.
According to Express Tribune, Custom officials arrested model and actor Ayyan from Islamabad airport on Saturday allegedly for money laundering. Ayyan was caught with $500,000 which she was allegedly smuggling to Dubai. The model was set to board an Emirates airline to Dubai and according to Airport Security Force she did not declare that she was carrying a huge amount of money.
Fans took to Twitter to take a dig at the Pakistani model after the news came out.
Ayyan started her modeling career in 2010 and also won the title of ‘Best Female Emerging Model’ in the same year. She is now considered as one of the top most model of Pakistan. She has also sung two songs ‘You and I’ and ‘Million Dollars’ (which was quite disappointing).
