  • Fawad Alam scored his 32nd century of his first-class career while representing Sindh against the Northern.
  • The batsman says authorities offer him a new justification every now and then, so he tries to correct it and see what happens next.

Pakistan domestic cricket superstar Fawad Alam has finally given the reason for his absence from international cricket, saying that he is a victim of personal likes and dislikes from the cricketing authorities.

"As far as the likes and dislikes are concern, it goes on because it is a part of life, but one should learn to take things positively when looking at the player," Alam said while speaking to the media.

While representing Sindh against the Northern at the ongoing  Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in Karachi, Alam once again put up a great display with the bat, scoring his 32nd century of his first-class career.

Alam further said there is no need to tell there is an issue of likes and dislikes as it can be seen, every player performs and doesn’t have much of a difference. “As far as I am personally concerned, the authorities offer me a new justification every now and then, so I try to correct it and see what happens next,” he said.

The 34-year-old has scored 11,830 runs at an impressive average of 56 in his first-class career so far and this season alone he has already scored two centuries and a half-century in 9 innings.
