Telecom Italia board to meet Friday on Vivendi's request for board replacements

MILAN: Telecom Italia's board will meet on Friday to examine a request by top shareholder Vivendi to call a meeting of shareholders to replace five board members and appoint new auditors, two sources familiar with the matter said on Tuesday.

The board will vote on the request on Jan. 14, the sources added.
