In pictures: Pakistani, Indian celebs rock Masala Awards 2018 in Dubai

Like every year, Masala Awards celebrated the achievement of the members of the Asian community, as many Pakistani and Indian celebrities including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kartik Aryan, Ayesha Omer, Sheheryar Munawar and Aamna Ilyas graced the event in UAE.

Pictures and videos from their appearance at the award show have flooded the internet and, needless to say, their fans have loved seeing them.

Kareena also walked the ramp for Faraz Manan, a Pakistani designer based in Dubai. Wearing a beige-coloured two-piece, floor-length shimmery dress with a pink train, Kareena once again set the ramp on fire.

The ‘Veere Di Wedding’ actress was delighted to walk for her ‘dear friend’ Faraz and shared her excitement while talking to the audience. “It’s always great to be back,” she said, adding that most of her friends and fans were in Dubai. “Thank you Masala for making this walk possible,” she said.

Kareena was also awarded with ‘Asian Icon of the Year’ award while Pakistani actress Ayesha Omer was given ‘Most Stylist Female’ award. Actor Kartik Aryan has been named as ‘Best Actor of 2018’, while Pakistan Aamina Sheikh was given 'Best Actress of 2018' for her performance in 'Cake' movie. Another Pakistani actor, Sheheryar Munawar, received the 'Most Versatile Actor' award.
