LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb Friday asked PTI Chief Imran Khan to desist from using the caretaker government to serve his political objectives.
"Caretaker government is bound to remain impartial during the electoral process," she opined.
Talking to media-men here she asked Imran to write to the caretaker prime minister regarding evaluation of the performance of the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, adding he did not need to cry to cover up the incompetence and inefficiency of the government of his party in the province.
She said Imran should also dilate on what happened to his promise of producing electricity for the whole of Pakistan that he made in 2013.
Referring to the performance of the former federal and Punjab governments Marriyum said they had added 10,000 MW and 5500 MW of electricity respectively to the national system which was being used by entire country.
She said the performance of Shehbaz Sharif was amply reflected through the Metro Bus services in Lahore, Multan and Islamabad-Rawalpindi while the PTI government in KPK could only boast of trenches dug out for the purpose.
The PML-N spokesperson asked the PTI chairman to also narrate to the nation his performance during the last five years with regard to sit-ins, barrage of white lies and attempts to create chaos in the country along with his hundred day plan.
