KARACHI: BRINDEX-30 closed on the lower side on Tuesday at 21,317.97 points with a negative change of -59.66 and volume of 53,836,900 shares. High and Low were 21,500.62 and 21,281.23 respectively. Of 30 companies traded, 9 were up, 20 were down and 1 was unchanged.

Total volume traded in the market was 106,587,860 shares. Total companies traded were 358 of which 132 were positive, 202 were negative and 24 were unchanged.

Power Generation and Distribution was the top traded sector with total traded volume of 30,245,700 shares. It was followed by Commercial Banks with a total traded volume of 14,684,400 shares.
