The NCOC observed that the overall nationwide positivity ratio is 4.5 percent. In Hyderabad, the positivity ratio is 16.59%, 15.97% in Multan and Gilgit has a 15.38% positivity rate.
As per the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC), As many as 1,078 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the country's total to 332,186.
As part of the service, people can report any violations like non wearing of mask, non-adherence to social distancing and over-crowding at public places
The body noted a clear resurgence in virus cases and deaths in the country and warned an urgent and immediate need to ensure the implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for prevention of the dieses.
“Started consultations at NCOC with provinces on review and possible revision of sectors (subject to SOPs) on Negative List of opening up,” said Azhar in a tweet post.
He said that total 5,709 deaths had been reported from the disease with 32 reported during last 24 hours. He said that 213,175 patients had been recovered.

The NCOC was informed that the World Health Organization (WHO) has acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts to contain COVID-19 and termed Pakistani data accurate.
