ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Water and Power Abid Shair Ali has said that all out efforts are being made to control power theft.
He said all available resources were being utilized to streamline the system in the power sector, adding that strict action would be taken against the power pilferers.
Talking to a private television channel, he said measures were being made in all the provinces to control the power theft cases.
He said action would not be taken against those persons, who were paying electricity bills.
Replying to a question regarding Musharraf, he said the court would decide the case about violation of the Constitution by him.
The minister said the country was confronted with a number of challenges like terrorism due to the wrong policies of the past dictatorial regime.
