PESHAWAR: Senators belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have donated an amount of Rs 1 million for rehabilitation of the people affected by the recent torrential rains in the province.
Senators Mohsin Aziz, Ilyas Ahmed Bilour, Nauman Wazir and Iqbal Zafar Jhagra presented a cheque of Rs.1 million to Chief Minister Pervez Khattak at CM Secretariat on Monday.
The Chief Minister thanked the Senators for the donation and while appreciating their spirit he hoped that the amount would help mitigate sufferings of the affected people.
