Sudan catches ‘spying vulture’

KARACHI: Authorities have caught a vulture suspected to be spying for Israel in the western region of Sudan.
Sources claim the bird had a GPS system and solar powered equipment attached, which can help provide pictures through satellite. The bird also had tags attached of “Israel Nature Service” and “Hebrew University, Jerusalem.”
Sudan already suspects Israel destroyed one of their munitions depot near Khartoum after jamming the country’s radar system. Israel has not issued any statement clarifying their position on the case.
However, in recent incidents, ecologists at the Israel Nature Parks Authority have maintained that they released around one hundred such birds to study migratory patterns.
Another such case also surfaced in Saudi Arabia, though the bird was identified and the officials accepted the Israeli explanations, then discharged it of any suspicion.
