ISLAMABAD: Qamar Zaman kaira Minister for Information and Broadcasting called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf at Prime Minister’s House Monday and apprised him about the matters pertaining to his Ministry.
Kaira also congratulated the Prime Minister on holding a mammoth public meeting at Gujar Khan.
He also discussed with the Prime Minister the prevailing political situation in the country.
The Prime Minister said that the Government attaches great importance to freedom of media and has fostered a culture of tolerance and free speech in the country.
The Prime Minister appreciated the role of media in the National life.
