justin-bieber-mwebKARACHI: Justin Bieber is all set to play the character of Tom Cruise in his upcoming movie with Mark Wahlberg.

According to media sources, Wahlberg wants Bieber to become like Tom Cruise or Paul Newman.

Speaking to media Wahlberg said, "I think of Paul Newman and Tom Cruise in ‘The Color of Money;’ but in the world of inner-city basketball. I just think personally we have a great idea."

He added, “He's [Bieber] a great athlete... He's focused and he wants to have success in the movie world and acting as well. He's focused and patient about finding the right particular part, working with the right people, and I think he'd do a great job.”

Sources added that the movie revolves around basket ball and youth.

The movie is expected to be released sometimes in 2013.
