KARACHI: Senior Minister for Education & Literacy Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq would write a book on ‘Judiciary’s biased role’ against democratic institutions throughout the history of the country.
“My book ‘From Justice Muneer to Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry’, would disclose the concealed facts of the judicial history of this country,” Pir Mazhar said in a statement here on Wednesday.
He said that his book would expose the facts of the important cases of the history like Molvi Tameez-ud-din Case, Aasma Jeelani Case, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Case, Begum Nusrat Bhutto Case, Judges Case, Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Case, Asif Ali Zardari Case, Zafar Ali Shah Case, Yousuf Raza Gilani Case, Contempt of Court Act Case and such other cases, where court decisions paved the way for attacks on democracy in the name of justice.
Pir Mazhar-ul-Haq said that the facts of these cases must be brought to public so that common man should be aware of the anti-democratic forces.
He said that dictators weakened the foundations of the country and hindered its progress however it is evident that the elected government has been the best form of government throughout the world history.
