Gold up at Rs49,028

gold KARACHI: Gold went up by Rs386 to close at Rs49,028 per 10 grams in the local market Saturday as its international price increased to $ 1,598 an ounce, market sources said.

According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also surged by Rs450 to Rs57,200.

Silver closed higher at Rs818.57 per 10 grams.
