Gold improves to Rs 48,514

gold1 400 KARACHI: Gold improved by Rs 43 to close at Rs 48,514 per 10 grams in the local market Thursday as its international price increased to $ 1,570 an ounce, market sources said.

According to Karachi Saraf Association official, tola (11.664 grams) price also inched up by Rs 50 to Rs 56,600.

Silver closed unchanged at Rs 810 per 10 grams.
