(Karachi) In a surprising move, the White House decided to unfollow Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on micro-blogging platform Twitter.
In a tweet on Wednesday, Indian politician and President of Indian National Congress Rahul Gandhi said, "I'm dismayed by the "unfollowing" of our President & PM by the White House. I urge the Ministry of External Affairs to take note."
The White House currently follows 13 accounts and has 22 million followers on Twitter. The only posts that the White House is following is that of Trump and a few others related to the US administration.

However, it is now not clear as to why the White House unfollowed the Indian Prime Minister on Twitter and if the move can be seen as a reflection of bitter relations between India and America.
