Futures spread down by 1272bps

The futures spread declined by 1272bps to 3.98 percent on the last day of the outgoing week.

Trading activities on the futures counter however improved significantly as average daily volumes increased by 140.1 percent to 93.41 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 38.91 million shares.

Average daily trading value on the futures counter increased by 143.7percent during this week and stood at Rs 4.16 billion.
