NAIROBI: The Kenyan shilling was stable on Wednesday amid slow trading activity with market players eyeing potential dollar inflows from non-governmental organizations to offer support against importer demand, traders said.

At 1013 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 105.80/106.00 per dollar, the same as Tuesday's close.

"Not much demand from our clients and we are yet to get (price) direction... those who need shillings to pay salaries like NGO's and embassies will change their dollars," said a senior trader from one commercial bank.
