Chicago Board of Trade soyabean futures dipped to two-week low in mid-day trading on Monday, before rebounding on signs that drought conditions in South America could erode Brazil's bumper harvest, traders said.
But futures prices remained pressured by the coronavirus pandemic, which continues to disrupt global supplies and stoke worries about weakening demand, traders said.
CBOT May soyabeans ended up 1-1/4 cents at $8.55-1/2 per bushel.
CBOT May soyameal ended down $6.20 at $297.00 per short ton while May soyaoil rose 0.40 cent to 26.83 cents per pound.
