Coronavirus pandemic: Sindh govt decides to close shopping malls, restaurants for 15 days

(Karachi) In wake of coronavirus pandemic, Sindh government has decided to shut all restaurants and shopping malls in the province for 15 days, media has reported.
As per details, the government also decided to close Sea View Beach, public parks and government offices and the decision will be implemented from tomorrow (March 18). In addition, inter-city bus service will also remain suspended for the aforementioned period.
The Sindh government also directed dhaba owners to close by 9 pm as number of confirmed Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Pakistan has shot up. The government also announced to close all bachat bazars in the province till further notice.
The government has decided to adopt a ‘zero tolerance' policy regarding precautionary measures for the Coronavirus pandemic. If late-night hoteling and loitering did not stop, then the provincial government may direct dhabas and restaurants to close by 9 pm.
However, grocery stores and vegetable shops will not be directed to close.
