The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that currency notes transactions could be the cause of the outbreak of the coronavirus.

As per details, currency notes issued by the affected person to another person can transmit the virus from one person to another. So caution should be exercised in this matter.

According to the WHO report, germs and viruses accumulate more on the currency notes.

So, avoid spitting while counting the currency notes, which is a common practice in Pakistan, and after using the note, the citizens of the affected countries must wash their hands.

The WHO is also advising to switch to cashless transactions as much as possible.

The number of persons affected by the coronavirus rose exponentially in Pakistan, with province Sindh recording 103 persons affected, including 76 of Sukkur/Taftan and 27 of Karachi. Meanwhile, the global cases have spiraled over 180,000 with over 7,000 casualties.
