Tenants of Muhammadi House on I. I. Chundrigar Road have expressed deep concern over lack of basic infrastructural facilities which, according to them, is militating against the success of their entrepreneurial ventures. They have also complained that a number of unpleasant steps were taken by the building management which have added to their problems.
Addressing a press conference, a leading businessman, Muhammad Yahya Polani, urged the concerned authorities to take necessary measures to redress their woes.
He said that Muhammadi House, owned by Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC), is the only high-rise building on the I. I. Chundrigar Road with no elevator facility. Despite repeated promises, the building management has not yet taken any steps for elevators, he added.
