A Spokesman for the United Business Group (UBG), Gulzar Feroz, and Sindh Regional Chairman Sheikh Khalid Tawab have expressed concern over the FPCCI not holding business council elections on time. They said that two months had passed, but the FPCCI had not been scheduling elections of business councils which was affecting the country's economy.

They accused the present FPCCI leadership of poor performance and said that the FPCCI had business councils of different countries, and the office-bearers of these business councils worked with businessmen and embassies/governments of foreign countries.

They wondered why the present leaders of the FPCCI had suddenly postponed elections of FPCCI business councils without giving any reason. "The actual reason is that they are afraid that their supporters will be defeated in the elections of business councils, specially the Pak-China Business Council," they alleged.
