BUCHAREST: Romania sold a more than planned 715.5 million lei ($166.04 million) worth of April 2026, treasury bonds on Monday, with the average yield at 4.04pc, central bank data showed.

Debt managers, who planned to sell 600 million lei last issued the paper in December at an average yield of 4.10pc.

The ministry has sold 4.6 billion lei at domestic tenders so far in January.
