Futures spread down by 5790 basis points

The futures spread declined by 5790bps to negative 579.30 per cent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter slightly improved as average daily volumes increased by 27.4 percent to 90.73 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 71.22 million shares. Average daily trading value surged by 19.0 per cent and stood at Rs 3.77 billion during this week.
