Expressing gratitude over the directions of Lahore High Court (LHC) allowing the former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for medical treatment abroad by excluding his name from the ECL, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shahbaz Sharif on Saturday said the honorable LHC rejected the condition of indemnity board put forth by the government.

Talking informally to media persons after the orders of the LHC, Shahbaz said he is thankful to the honorable court, their legal team and countrymen. He said that prayers of the nation and his mother have become fruitful.

"The hurdle created by the government has been removed with the Saturday's decision of the LHC," he said. "Nawaz Sharif was seriously ill and requested the nation to pray for his health."

It may be noted that the PTI-led federal government had set condition for Nawaz Sharif to pay Rs7 billion indemnity bond if he wants to travel abroad for medical treatment. The government had also given only one time four-week permission to ailing Sharif to get his medical treatment abroad.

Shahbaz Sharif and other PML-N leaders including Javed Hashmi, Amir Muqam, Ahsan Iqbal, Pervaiz Malik and others were present during hearing of the case in the LHC.
