ABL-IBG holds customer awareness sessions at Bahawalpur

Creating awareness and developing clear understanding of the subject of Islamic Banking among the masses is one of the basic key factors that may bring about tremendous success towards the growth of Islamic banking industry. In this regard, Allied Bank Limited- Islamic Banking Group arranged a Customer Awareness Program on Islamic Banking for the Business Community of Bahawalpur at Chamber of Commerce & Industry Bahawalpur, recently.

The seminar was addressed by the Chief Islamic Banking (IBG) - Muhammad Idrees, Group Head IBG Shaikh Raashed Rauf and Resident Shariah Board Member Mufti Tayyab Amin. Seminar was also attended by the officials from SBP-Bahawalpur along with the members of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry and business community of Bahawalpur.

The Chief -IBG shared the bank's vision, its role in serving different segments of society and the rationale of holding such seminars across Pakistan. He encouraged the audience to be more participative and share their thoughts/questions to get the clear understanding of the Islamic Banking concepts.

This initiative of ABL-IBG was much admired and termed to be very useful by the audience in developing their understanding of Islamic Banking subject, its different aspects and last but not the least its relevance to their everyday life and suggested to hold such knowledgeable sessions for the other segments of the society as well.-PR
