Sindh Minister for Information, Archives and Labour Saeed Ghani on Saturday said that former President Asif Ali Zardari was not being provided with the necessary treatment facilities. While slamming the federal government, the Provincial Minister said Asif Ali Zardari was extremely unwell but his personal doctor had not been allowed to look after him.

He said this while addressing a press conference on Saturday. MPAs Saadia Javed, Nadia Gabol and Qasim Siraj Sommro were also present during the press conference. Saeed Ghani said he was seriously concerned about the health of former President Asif Ali Zardari as his recent medical tests were not satisfactory.

The provincial minister for Information said the medical reports of Asif Ali Zardari were also not being shared with his family members. He said what was being meted out with former President of this country was expected from a vindictive Prime Minister like Imran Khan Niazi.

Saeed Ghani said former President Asif Ali Zardari never demanded for air conditioner, television, fridge or any other facility in the prison. The Minister for Information said that an imprisoned person had the right to access to his personal medical staff. Although Asif Ali Zardari had been admitted to the hospital but yet he had not been allowed to access his personal doctors, he said.

Saeed Ghani also demanded for an earliest and adequate treatment for former President Asif Ali Zardari. Responding to a question the minister said that Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari participated in Azadi March in accordance with the party's decision. The provincial minister said the future course of action would be decided by the Rehbar committee in consultation with the leaders of all the political parties of the opposition.

Saeed Ghani said the political parties and the state institutions should not confront each other. The Minister for Information said the state institutions should also avoid becoming party to any dispute amongst the political parties. He said although the political parties had their own political visions but they had been united against the fictitious democracy in the country. Saeed Ghani said that Imran Khan might resign from his post as he looked extremely tense. The Provincial Minister for Information said the Azadi March might proceed towards D-Chowk after the ultimatum given to Prime Minister Imran khan Niazi for resignation.
