The spectators were treated to a fine brand of polo during a Corps Commander Polo exhibition match played between Chitral and Gilgit Baltistan (GB) teams at Peshawar Garrison Polo Ground. Governor KP Shah Farman was the chief guest on the occasion. The match could not have been a more fierce fight between the two good teams, according to a press release issued here on Sunday.

The players and ponies jostled for the lead continuously with each taking their turn at the top and at the end Chitral team defeated GB team, in the stunning match and won the trophy after an invigorating contest which ended with 7 to 5 goals. The winning team was awarded prizes by the Governor KP. During break time spectators were enthralled by band of Frontier Corps. In addition to Mil & Civ dignitaries, the match was witnessed by universities' students and next of kin of Martyrs. Earlier, on arrival at Peshawar Garrison Polo Ground, Governor KP Shah Farman was received by Commander Peshawar Corps Lieutenant General Shaheen Mazher Mehmood.
