An accountability court indicted on Wednesday Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leaders Khawaja Saad Rafique and Khawaja Saad Rafique in the Paragon Housing scam case.

Both the brothers were presented before the court as their judicial remand ended today. Judge Jawwad ul Hassan indicted the two brothers to which both of them denied the charges against them, local media reported. Summoning witnesses, the court has adjourned the hearing till September 13.

Last year in December, the two brothers were arrested by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). NAB has accused the Rafique brothers of launching an illegal housing scheme Paragon City (Pvt) Ltd in 2005 on the basis of forged and fabricated documents with chief executive of Paragon City Nadeem Zia and others.

The accountability watchdog has also said that both Saad and Salman received money from the housing society. NAB revealed that both brothers had admitted that they took millions of rupees as commission.
