BANDAR LAMPUNG: Indonesia exported 22.4 tonnes of cocoa beans in April from the province of Lampung in Sumatra, local trade office data showed on Thursday.

April's shipments were down 98 percent from 1,066.8 tonnes in the same month last year. On a monthly basis, shipments in April fell by nearly half.

The local trade office often revises shipment figures as more data becomes available. Lampung is a minor producer in Indonesia, but the beans are normally high-quality fermented.
