Provincial Minister for Agriculture Ismail Rahu during his visit to monitor the ongoing cleanliness drive, "Clean my Karachi" on the directives of CM Sindh in District Central Karachi, has said that district central is the largest garbage and waste producer district in Karachi.
He said we need to eliminated garbage from every nook and canny of district central. We will also pay surprise visits to monitor the campaign, he added.
Ismail Rahu said that he also received some complains from administration side that they are lacking of funds. He said we will convey these request to competent authorities in our reports that enhance the allocation of funds as the amount earmarked is very meager as compared to the heaps of garbage piled up over the year.
