The intermittent monsoon rain has continued to wreck havoc in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Balochi-stan, Gilgit Baltistan, Sindh and Kashmir. According to details, major breakdown was witnessed in Karachi's Azizabad, Ayesha Manzil and other areas after tripping of K-Electric system.
The rain water has also inundated low-lying areas in aforementioned areas. Meanwhile, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) stated widespread rains/wind-thunderstorm (with isolated heavy falls) is expected in Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Mardan, Kohat, Bannu, D I khan, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Zhob divisions, Islamabad and Kashmir, while at scattered places in Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, at isolated places in Kalat, Multan, Bahawalpur, Karachi, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas, Sh. Benazirabad divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
