Younus Habib, former Mehran Bank chief and suspect in Asghar Khan case, on Wednesday passed away. Younus Habib was the accused of distributing money among the politicians to create the Islamic Jamhoori Ittehad (IJI) against Pakistan People's Party (PPP) as he was the chief executive officer of the Mehran Bank in 1996. He was suffering from cancer had been hospitalised in Karachi for last several days. The funeral prayer for the deceased was offered in DHA.
