Pakistan Peoples Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that opposition parties will have to raise voice against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government; otherwise, the coming generations would not forgive them.
"We have to evolve strategy to remove the PTI government; otherwise, the country would face loss. We have an ideology and political thinking. Caption will have to go," Asif Ali Zardari told media persons after holding a meeting with Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman on Wednesday.
Zardari said, "We can launch a movement against the PTI government and in its regard we have to be united. We would devise a strategy after taking all opposition parties into confidence to start a movement against the government."
Maulan Fazlur Rehman while talking to media persons on the occasion said, "We are together to get rid of fake government." He said no decision has been taken yet about any movement against the government. "We will inform media if we take any decision in this regard," he added.
He said that he discussed various issues with Zardari during the meeting and there is complete harmony on all issues. He said that meetings with opposition leaders would continue in coming days. He said that he had also met with PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif but no specific agenda came under discussion. He said, "We are not in a position to give any surprise."
According to sources, both the leaders discussed current political situation of the country. They also discussed the implementation on National Action Plan (NAP) and extension in tenure of military courts in the country. They also discussed the ongoing National Accountability Bureau (NAB) cases against opposition leaders.
