Federal Minister for information Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday strongly reacted to Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zaradri's warning to march onto Islamabad to oust the government, saying 'it will prove to be the last nail in the coffin of son-father duo.' Addressing the 40th death anniversary of late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari and Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari urged party workers to march towards Islamabad to dislodge the PTI government, as it has failed to deliver on its promises made with the nation ahead of elections.
The warning from rival PPP angered the information minister who said that any attempt by the 'plunderers of national wealth' will prove to be the last nail in the coffin, besides exposing their corruption scandals further as investigation against them are already under way.
He said that both Nawaz Sharif and Zardari must return the national wealth which they have stashed in foreign banks, and then start lecturing on morality and march onto Islamabad.
The information minister said that the government will not enter into any deal with Zardari and Sharif. "If any such deal is reached then the people will grab our collars," he said, adding that the PPP needs to understand that Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto were big leaders but they can't sell their names to live politically anymore.
