Shah Mehmood Qureshi said on Monday that Pakistan did not want war with India as it desired peace in the region, adding that Pakistan also wanted to resolve all issues through dialogue. Addressing the 17th convocation of University of Management and Technology (UMT) here, he said that world community had admired the role of Pakistan for regional peace and prosperity. He said, entire Pakistani nation was united against the Indian aggression and war hysteria. The world has realized that who wanted peace and who wanted war, he maintained.
He said that National Action Plan (NAP) was being implemented to eliminate extremism and terrorism from the country. He said that Pakistan was among the largest producers of cotton and dairy products besides having largest irrigation system and reserves of coal and other minerals in the world.
He said that Pakistan's Law Enforcement Agencies were fully capable of defending our territories. Foreign Minister said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was committed to invest in human capital and quality education for the development, prosperity and socio-economic uplift of the people of country. He said that efforts were being made to stabilize the economy of the country.
