On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,704. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 7.328 billion and the number of lots traded 8,375. Major business was contributed by NSDQ100 amounting to PKR 2.370 billion followed by gold PKR 1.686 billion, currencies through COTS PKR 1.324 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 1.215 billion, silver PKR 252.595 million, DJ PKR 189.803 million, platinum PKR 173.541 million, SP500 PKR 75.658 million, copper PKR 23.438 million, Brent crude oil PKR 8.270 million and natural gas PKR 7.911 million.
In agriculture commodities 6 lots of wheat valued at PKR 19.065 million and 10 lots of cotton valued at PKR 5.191 million were traded.
