LAHORE: Special Assistant to Punjab Chief Minister for Food and Environment, Muhammad Mansha Ullah Butt on Wednesday said the government is taking all precautionary measures to ward off dengue virus in the province.
Talking to APP in his office, Mansha Ullah Butt said provision of dengue free environment to the masses was top priority of the Punjab government.
He said last year dengue virus was controlled in the province especially in the provincial capital as a result of solid measures adopted by the Punjab Chief Minister and his team.
He said the government drive against dengue couldnot succeed without the cooperation of people. He informed that he would visit godowns, nurseries and any breeding points in an effort to eradicate dengue virus completely.
