The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has given additional charge of the post of Director General Immoveable Properties to Muhammad Tanvir Akhtar, who is presently assigned to work as Director General Broadening of Tax Base (BTB), FBR.
The FBR has issued a notification to give additional charge of the post of Director General Immoveable Properties to Muhammad Tanvir Akhtar (BS-21). Muhammad Tanvir Akhtar has been considered as one of the most honest tax official enjoying impeccable reputation among the tax machinery while working as Director Intelligence & Investigation Inland Revenue, Director General FBR Central Coordinator IR Enforcement Network and other positions.
Dr Khalid Mahmood Lohdi (BS-20) has been assigned to work as Director (North) Immoveable Properties; Yasmeen Fatima (BS-20) Director North Immoveable Properties and Rafique-ur-Rehman would work as Director (South) Immoveable Properties.
In addition to the mandate assigned through section 230F of Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, the Directorate General IMP-IR shall act as FBR's specialised agency on all matters relating to real estate/immoveable properties.
