District administration Peshawar arrested the managers of 15 CNG and petrol filing stations overcharging and wrong gauge from different areas here Wednesday. A team of the district administration headed by Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh and comprising of Assistant Commissioner (AC) Sara Rehman and Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC), Shahbaz Khattak checked different CNG and fuel filling stations on Kohat Road, Ring Road and Charsadda Road. The team checked the measurement of petrol and diesel at different filling stations.
The team also checked the rate of CNG stations and also the licence and Farm 'K' of the filling station and arrested the managers of 15 CNG and petrol pump filling stations for overcharging and less measured fuel. On this occasion, the Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr. Imran Hamid Sheikh has directed all AACs for carrying checking of the CNG and filling stations in their respective areas and take stern action against overcharging and wrong gauged stations.
