Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) newly-elected President Amanullah Kanrani along with a delegation called on Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhary Parvez Elahi here on Thursday. The members of the delegation included Tahir Nasrullah Warraich, Ali Ejaz Butter and Rana Muhammad Faheem whereas Alamgir advocate and Amir Saeed were also present on this occasion.
The Speaker felicitated the SCBA's newly-elected President on his victory in the election. Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former Prime Minister Chaudhary Shujat Hussain also congratulated Amanullah Kanrani on telephone. The newly-elected SCBA President thanked Chaudhary Shujat Hussain and Chaudhary Parvez Elahi and added that as the Punjab Chief Minister, the Speaker had worked very much for the lawyers' community and his services cannot be forgotten.
