PESHAWAR: Speaker National Assembly, Asad Qaisar Saturday said that government would encourage welfare organizations that are endeavoring for the welfare of needy and orphan children.

He was the Chief Guest in annual prize distribution ceremony of Ummah Children Academy at Sooria Khel, district Nowshera. Member Provincial Assembly, Dr. Imran Khattak, Patron-in-Chief Sweet Homes, Zamurad Khan, Deputy Commissioner Nowshera, Abdul Hameed Khan were also present on the occasion.

Speaker praised efforts of Ummah Academy for the welfare of hapless saying their humanitarian services for mankind would always be remembered.

He said soon a meeting would be scheduled with Managing Director Bait-ul-Mal and other welfare organizations to establish a Welfare Village that would be provided all the needed facilities including hospital and school.

He said that efforts of welfare organization would not only facilitate needy and orphan children but would also help them to become a respectable part of society. He also distributed shields among the students.

Director Ummah Academy, Fazal Subhan highlighted contribution of the academy saying a total of 650 students from across the country are getting education in the institution.

He said that Rs. 7 million was being spent annually on provision of education and other facilities to students.
