LAHORE: The session of Punjab Assembly (PA) was adjourned by Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi till October 19 soon after the budget speech was delivered by Provincial Finance Minister Makhdoom Hashim Jawan Bakhat in the House.
The finance minister presented the budget for eight months i.e. from November 2018 to June 2019.
Opposition benches strongly protested in the house against the detention of Pakistan Muslim League-N President and Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif.
