Subsidy on gas price hailed

FAISALABAD: Pakistan Hosiery Manufacturers and Exporters Association (North Zone) has welcomed the government decision of Rs.44 billion subsidy on gas price for export sector of Punjab province.

PHMA Chairman Mian Naeem Ahmed in a press release issued here on Monday termed the government's decision a positive step towards enhancement of exports and said that it would help the export industry to stand on its own feet and compete in international markets with its competitors.

He also demanded textile package for value added textile sector.
