Sindh High Court (SHC) on Tuesday granted protective bail to Pak Sar Zameen (PSZ) Party leader Anees Qaimkhani in Dr Asim case of treating terrorists. Qaimkhani, a former deputy convenor of Muttahida Qaumi Movement, is accused of asking Dr Asim to treat terrorists of his previous party, who got injured in clashes with law enforcers or their rivals, at Ziauddin Hospital.
PSZ leader through his counsel approached the court seeking the protective bail as according to him he is innocent and had nothing to do the terrorism charges. His counsel submitted that the allegations labelled against his client are baseless as Qaimkhani never asked anyone to treat the terrorists.
