A news item appeared in Business Recorder on March 11, says that the Karachi Cotton Association (KCA) is going to hold a cotton moot on the 15th March on cotton crop failure in 2015-16. All the agencies that are concerned with cotton industry are invited to attend the moot except PCCC. Pakistan Central Cotton Committee (PCCC) is a federally-financed cotton research organisation in the country and is supposed to release new cotton varieties that have greater yield potential. PCCC's input is also needed in the moot.
